NJ Khan was born in Berlin, Germany, but grew up running around in the countryside with horses, cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, and many more pets.

Her father is from Meerut, India and her mother is German. Ever since she can remember, NJ, has travelled with her parents to see the world and visit her family in India, Pakistan, Dubai, U.S. and the UK. She discovered her love for photography when she was 7-years-old. That's when she traded her first 'Peaches n' Cream Barbie' for a AGFAMATIC 4008 camera.

After high school, NJ studied Economics at the University of Frankfurt, earning her pre-diploma. Then she switched to Marketing and Communications and graduated with a degree in Advertising Psychology.
Next, she packed up her swimsuits and moved to South Beach, Florida, where took a 6-month course at Miami Ad School for a post-graduate class. After falling in love with photography, she stayed at Miami Ad School Miami, then went to Miami Ad School Chicago and Miami Ad School London earning a world of experience and graduating in Photo Design.

Currently NJ lives on the island of Oahu, Hawai’i with her family.

I adore my family and my friends, I like having a good time. I love meeting people and listening to their stories. It's good to be inspired and also inspire in return. I think respect is an essential of life and I also think god is in the detail.
